Ode to Rick is a series of onyx monoliths conceived as side tables and podiums. Carved from solid blocks, each piece is defined by precise subtractions that reveal depth within mass. The natural veining of the stone becomes a structural element, aligning or interrupting the geometry. Presented in dialogue with Rick Owens’ bronze vases, the works operate as both support and counterpart establishing a quiet tension between weight, material, and proportion.
